Laurie Ray entered the Real Estate profession after many different Business experiences. Laurie is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a degree in business & sociology. Laurie 1st entered the Business world as a Loan Officer for the Small Business Administration. She then moved on as the Training Coordinator & Public Information Officer for the USDA Rural Development. Her Husband, Dan, is in partnership with Motor Inn of Spencer giving the Family the opportunity to move from Des Moines to Spencer in 1996. Since that time Laurie started the Business Mailboxes & Parcel Depot in Spencer and managed it for 3 years. Laurie wanted to be closer with her two Children, Kaitlyn & Kolton, so she became a substitute Teacher. Laurie’s Father has been a Realtor for 20 years and with her love of Houses- both looking at and designing them, she decided a career in real estate would be her passion. Laurie’s love of people, abiding by the “golden rule” and Customer Service beliefs, have her very excited to be in this Profession.
